- Use your google acount to log-in (Google owns Blogger)
- Use xxscils598x08 as your blog title (your blog should be xxscils598x08.blogspot.com)
- Add your blog URL to your Profile page on the class Wiki
- (Next week we'll subscribe to each other's blogs)
- Compare blog software/services
- Setup an account on either WordPress, TypePad or LiveJournal and review that service's features to Blogger 's
- Create a short bullet point based blog post (on Blogger) based on your comparison
- I'll expect at least five bullets
- Comment on blog posts
- Read the blog posts of the person before and after you
- Make 1 Comment on each of the other person's posts
- Create a Twitter account
- Use xxscils598x08 as your account name on twitter
- Add your twitter account information to you profile page
- Make sure you're logged in to your account, go to twitter.com/librarysteve and follow me

br - Finally, a use for twitter that makes sense to me. NASA's Phoenix is twittering from Mars! (Okay, the tweets are really coming from the Jet Propulsion Lab, but the information is indirectly from Mars.) You can follow it at http://twitter.com/MarsPhoenix. It's also sending podcasts and videos. You can subscribe to the RSS feed on the website http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/phoenix/main.php.
