Bio
I live in Shrewsbury, NJ (one town over from Red Bank), with my husband Matt and our dog Dewey. I manage the Music Library for NBC, where I have worked for the past 8 years, since graduating college. Until recently the music library was part of the general reference library at NBC, so I "grew up" around reference and news librarians. If I didn't love what I do as a music librarian, I'd probably be doing reference work.
I started library school in spring of '07, and am hoping that next semester I will be finished! My husband recently (and safely!) returned after a year of serving in Iraq, so library school was a great distraction for me while he was gone.
While I'm familiar with things like IM and chats, I'm fairly new to the world of blogging, twitter, etc., so I'm excited to start learning some of these newer technologies. This is also my first online class, so I'm very excited to not have to trek out to New Brunswick once a week!
